Nathan Riley Darden, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, was born on September 16, 1999, in
Tulsa, Oklahoma, entered the Lords rest on June 8, 2023, in
Flint, Michigan. He was known for his adventurous spirit, faith-filled heart, and thoughtful nature, which touched the lives of many.
Nathan was the son of Michael (Meshell) Darden and was the cherished brother of Mason, Madisyn, Michael, and Matthew (Mateas). He was a devoted uncle to his nephews Zain and Azariah and a loyal best friend to Brian Delp. Nathan also considered Lydia Jarrett as his sister by choice, and together they formed a bond that could only be described as family.
Throughout his life, Nathan was driven by a passion for creativity and a strong work ethic. He owned and operated Straight Up Construction, a testament to his incredible skills and determination. His commitment to his work not only brought him success but also earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients.
Nathan's involvement in his community extended beyond his professional life. He was a proud member of 810 Bike Life, where he shared his love for adventure and the outdoors with fellow biking enthusiasts. Nathan also found solace and inspiration in his faith. He was an active member of Flint City Church, where he contributed his time and talents to make a difference in the lives of others.
In his free time, Nathan pursued a variety of interests that showcased his creativity and adventurous spirit. He enjoyed expressing himself through drawing and tattooing. Nathan also enjoyed boxing, a sport that allowed him to channel his energy and determination in a positive way. His love for adventure led him on countless unforgettable journeys, and he was always eager to share these experiences with friends and family.
Nathan was a true movie buff, and he cherished the time spent watching films with loved ones. His passion for health and fitness was evident in his dedication to working out, a routine that not only kept him physically strong but also provided an outlet for self-improvement and personal growth.

A Celebration of Nathan's Life will be held 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Friday, June 16, 2023 at the Flint City Church, 3230 Richfield Road,
Flint, Michigan 48506. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home – Columbiaville.
