Nathan Eisfelder Obituary
Jonny is survived by his parents; four brothers, Jadon, Joer, Evan, and William Eisfelder; paternal grandparents, John and Barbara Eisfelder of Jacksonville; maternal grandparents, Michael and Deena Shepard of Jacksonville; uncles, Mark (Stacy) Shepard of Maple Grove, Minnesota, Micah (Kristen) Shepard of Jacksonville; aunt, Rachel (Tanner) Carson of Montrose, Colorado; and cousins, Ella Shepard, Addison Shepard, and Alyssa Shepard.
Jonny graduated from Jacksonville High School in 2023. His love for working with kids began when he volunteered for the Boys and Girls Club during high school. Jonny was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed cross-country, football, and basketball. Jonny went on to study elementary education at Illinois College. He was a member of the Esports team and spent his free time working at Jimmy Johns, playing basketball, and shooting pool. He served the Jacksonville community as a counselor at Western Illinois Youth Camp. Jonny was a member of Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church with burial to follow at Diamond Grove Cemetery. A visitation will be held from noon until the time of services on Saturday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Illinois College Esports. The Williamson Funeral Home in Jacksonville is assisting the family.
