CHITTENDEN- Nathan Allen McPhee, 40, of Chittenden died Wednesday evening April 13, 2022 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center from a car accident.
He was born on February 10, 1982 in Rutland the son of Perry R. and Peggy (Carroll) McPhee.
Mr. McPhee grew up in Chittenden and attended the Rutland High School where he was on the Football team and earneda spot on the Shrine Team.
He had been employed by several tree companies including Davy Trees, McLeod Brothers, Cummings and Sons for many years and most recently the Casella Company.
He loved his dog Izzy, being outdoors and enjoyed wood carving, hunting, fishing, and camping, especially with his kids. He liked playing soft ball and was an avid bowler who was on several leagues.
Survivors include his 4 daughters Mellissa McPhee, Paige McPhee, Emma McPhee, and Sophie McPhee all of Rutland, the mother of his children Lynn Clark of Rutland, his father of Chittenden, a sister Natalie McPhee of West Rutland, 2 nieces, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his mother on July 7, 2006.
Friends may call on Thursday April 21, 2022 from 4pm until 7pm at the Aldous Funeral Home, 44 North Main Street, Rutland, VT. A funeral service will be held at 7pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
A celebration of his life will be held from 3pm-6pm on Saturday April 23rd, at the Moose Club in Rutland, Vermont.
