Nathan "Nate" Robertson, 43, of Mackinaw, formerly of Washington, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024 at his home.
He was born in Peoria on November 28, 1980 to Rick and Pam Robertson. They survive.
Also surviving are his fiancé, Mandi Martin; son, Zalen Goodwin; daughter, Ezmay Goodwin; seven siblings, Nikki (JP Bentz) Reber, Maggie (John) Romanovich, Jerry Robertson, Terry Robertson, Andy (Lindsay) Robertson, Justin (Dee) Robertson, and Serenity Grace Robertson; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and his maternal grandmother, Clara Hale. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, David Hale; and paternal grandparents, Jack and Beverly Robertson.
Nate was a construction worker and was a jack of all trades able to work on and fix about anything. He loved motorcycles and going to motorcycle races with his family and friends. Above all, Nathan loved his family and friends and cherished the moments that he spent with them. Everyone who knew him will remember his infectious smile and his uplifting personality and his never ending positivity.
Cremation has been accorded. A celebration of life service will be held at Roland Manor Baptist Church in Sunnyland at 1pm on Saturday, November 16th. Family will receive friends at the church 2 hours prior to service time on Saturday from 11am-1pm. Inurnment will be at Spring Bay Cemetery. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
