Nathaniel Davis Obituary
Our son VERY MUCH LOVED HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
He enjoyed working and had a wonderful work ethic. Nate loved fishing, wrestling, working out and football. The Pittsburgh Steelers was his team. He also loved to cook - it was his livelihood. He would ask for a recipe and put his own spin on it. Let him tell it, his recipes turned out great!
Nate's tattoos were works of art and very special to him. Nate had a wonderful personality and a smile that would warm your heart, light up any room and brighten your day. He was always complimenting and encouraging to his family and friends. He is and will always be our bright beam of light that is now gone but NEVER removed from our hearts!
Our son is survived by his father Nathaniel Davis Sr., Iowa City, Ia., mother Sylvia Blakey, Hampton, Va., stepmother Darci Stiles, Iowa City, Ia., sisters Tameka Blakey, Hampton Va., and Keeyanna Redding, Hampton, Va., aunts and uncles James Davis, Josephine and Alfred Thompson, George and Richelle Davis, Larry Davis, Thelma White, Margie Collins, Paul and Myra Blakey, Andre and Pamela Dean, Montean Dean, Leslie and Denise Blakey, Derrick Blakey, Crystal Blakey, Dorothy Blakey, Deborah Blakey, Carl Blakey, godmother Carla Holcomb, a host of cousins including Erica and Leslie Davis who he considered to be his sisters, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, the love of his life Cherry Martinez, and special friends Steven Beemer and Kevin Schmidt who he considered to be his brothers.
Nate was preceded in death by family members Richard and Laura Davis, Pearl Giles, Alfred Davis, Julius Davis, Irene Blakey, Milton Dean, Carl Dean Sr., Amelia Dean, Anthony Dean, Rosie Brown, Marvin Dean, and David Brown Jr.
