Nathaniel Jeffcoat was born September 1, 1956, in Columbia, SC. He was the son of the late Willie Clay and Addie Mae (Mayers) Jeffcoat. He departed this life earthly life on Monday, July 24, 2023, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Nathaniel was educated in the public school of Richland One, where he attended A. C. Flora High School. While a student at Flora, he was a member of the Basketball Team. He was employed for many years with Hollis and Hollis Concrete Company. At the time of his departure, he was employed with Loveless Concrete.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to the former Onita Hamilton on August 9, 2014; a union that blended two families together in Love.
Nathaniel enjoyed sports. His favorite team was the Pittsburg Steelers. He also loved listening to music, working and spending time chilling with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
In addition to his parents, Nate was preceded in death by his brother, Willie Clay Jeffcoat, Jr; and granddaughter, Akidrha Jeffcoat.
Those who will forever cherish Nathaniel's fond and precious memories are his wife, Onita H. Jeffcoat; children, Lil Nate, Anthony (Diede), Nikki, Dante' (DeNessa), and Adrian (Eboni); thirteen (13) grandchildren, Jazz, Nala, Nat, Alex, Naanthony, Demarius, Quiana, Tyler, Tayler, Dicen, LJ II, Dash and Mahogany; two (2) great-grandchildren; siblings, Almenia (Alphonza) Dozier, Billy (Jennifer) Jeffcoat, Paul (Barbara) Jeffcoat, and David (Alberda) Jeffcoat; uncle, Charles Ruff; father-in-law, Thomas Hamilton, Sr.; brothers and sisters-in law, Mary Jeffcoat, Thomas Hamilton, Jr., Juanita Hamilton, Cynthia (Thaddeus) Stephens; a host of nephews, nieces and other loving relatives and dear friends, all whom will dearly miss him.
