Pastor Nathaniel Wells III was born in Benton Harbor in 1963.
Pastor Wells relocated to Muskegon, Mich., with his parents, the late Bishop Nathaniel Wells Jr., and Mother Maryann Wells, after his father was appointed Pastor of Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ.
In 1990, Pastor Wells accepted Christ during a noon day prayer service and received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Later accepting his call to the ministry, he was licensed and ordained in 1993 as an Elder of the Church of God in Christ, Inc.
Before accepting the pastorate at Community Church of God in Christ, now Greater Community Christian Fellowship Church of God in Christ, Pastor Wells III evangelized throughout the United States teaching and preaching the Word of God. Pastor Wells diligently ministered to the needs of disadvantaged individuals by providing food and clothing, The Peter's House Project, a transitional home for men. He assisted in organizing the Benton Harbor Community Fest which fed 5000 families.
Pastor Wells served on the Cornerstone Alliance Consortium, he was president of Greater Community Christian Fellowship Board of Directors, president of Mildred Hayward Wells Academy Board of Directors as well as Hayward Wells and COGIC Community Housing Developments.
In 2020, after the demise of his father, the Late Bishop Nathaniel Wells Jr., he became the full-time pastor of Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ, in Muskegon, Mich., carrying on the mandate of Jesus Christ. Pastor Wells was an anointed man of God with the ability to deliver a message of relevance, power and deliverance. It has always been his desire to be used of God in the establishment of perfecting the body of Christ with an emphasis on HOLINESS and RESPONSIBILITY without ceasing to reach the weary, lost and the hopeless.
Pastor and First Lady Trina Wells are the proud parents of five children: Julian, DeMario, Brittney, Chelsea and Tiffany.

TO THE WELLS FAMILY:
"Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes in the morning." Let Psalm 30:5 remind us that our troubles are only temporary and that eventually, we will experience joy again.
