Natividad F. "Nati" Alvarez

Natividad "Nati" Fuentes Alvarez, 96, of Corpus Christi, was united with our heavenly Father, Thursday, August 14, 2025.

Nati is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Adolph A. Alvarez; her parents Zeferino and Antonia G. Fuentes; her brother and sister-in-law Antonio (Tony) and Josephine Fuentes Sr., her sister and brother-in-law Mary F. and Romelo Lopez Jr., her brother and sister in law Braulio (Lalo) G. and Emma A. Fuentes, her sister and brother in law Dominga (Minga) F. and Mike Torres, and grandson Christopher Matthew Smith

Nati was a graduate of Corpus Christi High School. She was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for many years. Her career spanned many years with several companies, such as Lester's Jewelry, Corpus Christi Public Utilities, Bealls department store. She was a member of the Woodmen of the World Lodge #6022, ex-president (1945-1946) of the Hi-Fairnessee Girl's club and ex vice-president of the Golden Girls Club. She was also a member of the Texas Jazz Festival Society for many years and the Texas Association of Hospital Auxiliaries Volunteer service at Spohn South for twenty years. Nati was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Natividad is survived by her one son, Adolph "Yogi" A. Alvarez (Peggy) of Corpus Christi, TX., two daughters, Rosie Smith of Dallas, TX., and Grace Charbonneau of Corpus Christi, TX., two grandchildren, Ashleigh Gray (Mike) and Matthew R. Charbonneau (Charissa); three great-grandchildren, Amiah M. Skipper, Colton Skipper and Kylie Ray Charbonneau, and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and cousins from the Alvarez, Fuentes, and Acuna family along with many caring friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Corpus Christi Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Funeral Home, 2409 Baldwin Blvd., Corpus Christi, TX., 78405. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
