Nayomia Jo Rogers, 93, of Trenton, GA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at her residence.
Mrs. Rogers was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and retired from Atlas Top-Flight Paper in Chattanooga following 51 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Rogers, mother & father, Bertie & Kelvie Gray, sisters, Doris (Wilbur) West & Donnie Rogers, & brother, Kenneth (Mary) Gray.
Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn (Paul) Nethery, Trenton, GA, Freida Cloud, Trenton, GA, & Teresa (James) Cash, Hixson, TN; son, Lonnie (Cindy) Rogers, Trenton, GA; sisters-in-law, Vala Murphy, Rising Fawn, GA, & Betty Ann Rogers, Bryant, AL; brother-in-law, J.D. Rogers, Ider, AL; grandchildren, Matt (Dana) Nethery, Jeremy (Sara) Cloud, Josh Cloud, Jamie (Dan) Varnell, Alan (Sarah) Cash, Lindsay (Steven) Ryan, & Laura (Geoff) Oliver; great-grandchildren, Ashley (Kyle) Yaklin, Bryce (Stahr Stembel) Nethery, Audrey Cloud, Brayden Nethery, Cash Varnell, Carter Ryan, Maclane Cash, Levi Varnell, Charlie Ryan, Brendan Oliver, & Camden Cash; several nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 14th at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Darren Rogers & Bro. Roy Morgan, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Hills Memorial Gardens with grandsons serving as pallbearers.
A special thanks is extended to Brandi, Crystal, Lisa and the staff of Hearth Hospice for the excellent care given to Mrs. Rogers. Online condolences may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 13th from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
