Betty Cotton Rogers

Betty Ophelia Cotton Rogers, 84, of Pine Bluff, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, in White Hall surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on January 18, 1941, in Warren, daughter of Herman Freddy Cotton and Ora Lee Russell Cotton.
Mrs. Rogers was reared and received her early education in the Pine Bluff schools.
She worked at Dale's Drug Store for over 20 years as a valued checker and pharmacy tech.
Mrs. Rogers was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Betty loved a fierce Domino game and enjoyed a good puzzle. In the winter months you could find her sitting at the kitchen table working on a 5,000-piece puzzle. She was still working on word puzzles two days before her passing.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jessie Clifford Rogers, whom she married April 5, 1958, in Greenville, Mississippi; son, Charles Rogers; two step-sons, Bobby Rogers and Jessie Clifford Rogers, Jr.; granddaughter, Amber Nicole Meadows; sister, Maxine Heird; and two baby brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Vardaman (Jay) of White Hall and Jackie Meadows of Cabot; son, Ernest Dale Rogers of Pine Bluff; brother, James Richard Cotton of Pine Bluff; four sisters, Bertha May Howard of Pine Bluff, Jeanette Cockrell of Pine Bluff, Shirley Jean Herring of Pine Bluff and Katie Marie Nichols of Warren; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Central Baptist Church with a service to follow at 2:30 p.m. with Brother Jordan Ferris and Brother Daniel Meadows (grandson) officiating by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors.
