In Memory of Neal Ellis Hahn Funeral services for Neal Ellis Hahn, 79, of Rayville were held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel with Bro. Robert Stroud officiating. Interment followed in the Greer Cemetery, Rayville under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home in Rayville. Neal Hahn was born on August 31, 1928 in Sanger, TX to Casper Henry and Louise Kitterell Hahn and passed away on Monday, January 7, 2008 in Rayville, LA. Mr. Hahn was a member of the Rayville First United Pentecostal Church. He was an avid fisherman, who loved to share with the community from his catch; he also enjoyed woodwork, he was an accomplished handyman. Mr. Neal was a Marine Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Hahn. Survivors include daughter, Rebecca Stansell and husband, Kenneth of Rayville; son, Jimmy Neal Hahn of Ft. Worth, TX; grandchildren, Matthew Crawford and wife, Michelle of Bastrop, Amber Hahn of Ft. Worth, TX, and Natalie Hahn of Ft. Worth, TX; great grandson, Matthes Crawford of Bastrop and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Ronald Evans, Louis Atcheson, Scott Ricks, Marvin Ricks, Frank Ricks, and Roger Thornhill. Honorary pallbearer was L.C. Shiers.
