Neal J. Huelsman

NEAL J. HUELSMAN age 45, beloved husband of Megan (nee Carey); cherished son-in-law of Robert F. & Carol (nee Buehner) Carey; treasured brother-in-law of Colleen (nee Carey) & Matthew Woellert and Robert F. & Jacqueline (nee Hurley) Carey; devoted uncle of Brennan Carey and godfather of Aurelia Bunce; dear nephew, cousin, and friend of many.

After a bravely fought battle with cancer, Neal sadly passed away on November 4, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and caregivers in the University Hospital system who cared for Neal during this time.

Neal's family and friends will greatly miss his love, strength, humor, generosity, selflessness, and consistently positive outlook. Though his absence feels unbearable, his family asks you to join them in honoring and celebrating his life.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Neal Huelsman may be made to University Hospitals Maryann and Larry Kennedy Master Clinician in Pancreatic Cancer Research.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Our Lady Chapel (at Gilmour Academy), 34001 Cedar Road, Gates Mills, OH at12:30PM. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Neal at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) MONDAY 3-8PM.
