Harvey H. Huelsman (Butch), age 84, passed away peacefully at their home in Breezy Point on October 5. He was proceeded in death by his parents Harvey H Huelsman and Elaine (Kustrich) Huelsman. Also proceeded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother.
Harvey graduated from Harding High School, was proud to have served in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion in Pequot Lakes, MN.
Harvey was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, brother/brother-in-law and uncle. He enjoyed time in his garage tinkering, woodworking and making moms tray for her walker which drew a lot of attention.
He truly enjoyed the warm winters in Texas. Summers in Minnesota were spent fishing off the pontoon and Harvieux family gatherings.
He is survived by his wife of 60 memorable years of marriage to Rosemary, and truly enjoyed and loved his children: Richard (Barb) Huelsman, Rene (Douglas) Peterson and Rebecca (Bryan) Alexander.
Grandchildren: Matt Huelsman (Megan), Will Huelsman, Brady Peterson (Dani), James Alexander (Leanne), Austin Alexander (Beth), Justin Peterson (Dondi), Jourdon Peterson (Sam), and Great Grandchildren: Jayda, Gage, Braydon, Blakeley and Ciara.
Harvey was loved deeply and will be dearly missed. A celebration of Life will be held in the summer of 2026 with more details to follow.
