Janet Lee Huelsman passed away July 26th, 2025. Born Sept 4th, 1932, in Dayton, Ohio, Janet was the only child of Raymond J. Mathes and Mildred E. Mathes (Pierce). Janet may have been an only child, but she was the "big sister" in the Dayton community where she grew up. Being the first in the neighborhood to own a bicycle, she taught many of the younger children how to ride it. Janet went on to graduate from St. Joseph Commercial High School in 1950.

Janet had many skills and talents. She was athletic and excelled at swimming, tennis and golf. She was also a talented pianist, in fact at times throughout her life she served as the organist at her local Catholic parish. Janet was married to Conran L. Huelsman on August 1st, 1953, at Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Dayton Ohio. They lived in Dayton until 1965 when they moved the family to a little farm in Tipp City, Ohio. She continued, as she did in her youth, to surround herself with children, raising nine of her own on that farm in Tipp City.

Janet was proceeded in death by Conran, her husband of 56 years, and her son Paul D. Huelsman. She is survived by her children Louis M. Huelsman, Sue A. (Doug) Younce, Dolores M. (Tim) Barnhart, Carl E. Huelsman, Myron J. Huelsman, Constance L. (Matthew) Holt, Edward B. Huelsman and Anthony A. (Dena) Huelsman. She had 19 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. We will all dearly miss her.

A private ceremony will be held in her honor at a future date. Her family suggests that anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in Janet's honor to please consider Heartland Hospice, 580 Lincoln Park Blvd, Suite 320, Kettering, Ohio 45429. Arrangements have been entrusted to Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, Tipp City. Online condolences may be expressed at www.fringsandbayliff.com.
