It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Neal Kean O'Neil on August 31, 2025; he made the decision to take his own life after battling stage four lung and bone cancer. Neal was a very hard working, courageous and loving man. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, drinking coffee, and working on cars. Neal is survived in death by his loving children Diane Witt and Rocky Stanley, his brothers David and Daryl (Peanut), his sisters Donna fay and Debbie, his grandchildren, Faith. Nick, Judy, Ruby, Lion, Angela, Craig, Adam, and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Reesa O'Neil, his parents, Clark Bryant O'Neil and Clara Joan Davis, his daughter Patricia, his brothers Jimmy and Donnie, and grandson Cody Stanley. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am until 12:30 pm Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Rose Funeral & Cremation Broadway. A service will follow at 12:30 pm with Rev. Dr. Alan Smith officiating. Burial will follow at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
