Ned Irvin Cobb, Sr., age 93, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, after a short illness, surrounded by love.

Ned was born on December 3, 1932, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, to John and Harriett Cobb. They later moved to Fort Myers, Florida, where he completed his high school education. A proud patriot, Ned honorably served his country in the United States Army, as a Staff Sargeant during the Korean War.

Following his military service, Ned pursued higher education and earned a banking degree from the University of Tampa. He went on to enjoy a long and successful career of over 45 years in banking in the Sarasota/Bradenton, dedicating his professional life to the industry he valued and respected.

Ned was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ann Marie Cobb; his parents, John and Harriett Cobb; and his brother, Bruce Cobb.

He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Hong (Adam) of Bradenton; his sons, Ned Cobb, Jr., Randy Cobb, and Gary Cobb, all of Bradenton. Ned was a devoted and proud grandfather, affectionately known as "Poppi," to Alex and Jessica Acco (Ashley), and a cherished great-grandfather to Colin. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Ann (Tally) Zimmerman, as well as nieces and nephews Charles, Cecelia, Jeanette, Mark, and Paul.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caring and compassionate staff at Surrey Place for the kindness and dignity they provided during Ned's final journey.
