Neil R. Annear

Neil R. Annear, 76, of Florence, WI, passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Florence Health Services in Florence. Neil was born May 30, 1949, in Detroit, MI, the son of Earl and Rosemary (Wagner) Annear. He spent most of his life working as a cook at a variety of restaurants all over the country. A devoted fan of all Detroit sports teams, particularly the Detroit Lions, and a WWE enthusiast, he enjoyed coloring, solving puzzles on his phone, and playing on his computer, anything from playing games to watching YouTube videos and movies. Neil also loved to feed his birds, squirrels and chipmunks, but most of all, he loved his time with his wife Carol, particularly playing cutthroat games of Trouble. Neil is survived by his wife, Carol; his siblings, Sue and (Dave) Sundholm, Diane Burrell, Keith and (Cindy) Annear and Earl Annear, Jr.; a brother-in-law, David (Nancy) Reichardt; a sister-in-law, MaryAnn Reichardt; a special friend, John Koehler; a special caregiver, Tara Marshall; and good friend, Scott Marshall. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain followed by an 11:00 am service at the funeral home. Pastor Crystal Thomas will officiate, and burial will be in the Quinnesec Cemetery. Condolences to the family of Neil R.
