Neil Keith Gullickson

Neil Keith Gullickson, 66, passed away on January 24, 2026, in Flagstaff, Arizona, after an extended illness.

Neil was a native Arizonan born on Nov. 15, 1959, in Phoenix. He graduated from Northern Arizona University with degrees in Business Management and Public Planning and was a founding father of Pi Kappa Alpha. After his second graduation, he worked for Yavapai County, then the City of Flagstaff, retiring as a Senior Project Manager in Community Development. He was a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.

Neil enjoyed camping, skiing and hunting with family and friends, cutting wood with his wife, talking about trucks with his daughter, and turning wood bowls in his shop. He deeply appreciated the natural environment, with visits to Lake Powell and the family cabin among his outdoor adventures.

He is survived by his spouse Dawn Hawley; daughter Hannah Gullickson (fiancé Anthony Lawless); granddaughter Maelee Lawless; parents Howard and Anina Gullickson; sisters Christi Abgrall (Dennis) and Shelly Reardon (Mark); and nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 28, at Norvel Owens Mortuary on Route 66. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Neil Gullickson may be given to the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona.
