Neil Anthony Lambert

Neil Anthony Lambert (December 26,1949-February 1 2026)

Neil was born in Detroit, Michigan and raised on the family farm in Hallock, Mn. He began his career as a computer programmer and analyst at just 19 years old, a profession he dedicated himself to with intelligence and perseverance until his retirement. He was deeply proud of his work and his strong work ethic remained a defining part of who he was throughout his life.

Outside of work, Neil embraced life's simple pleasures. He loved golfing, fishing, biking, watching football, and, most of all, spending time with his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and some of their fondest memories are of time spent with Grandpa Neil boating, tubing, and fishing at the family cabin on Mille Lacs Lake. Those moments of laughter, sunshine, and togetherness will be treasured forever.

Neil will be remembered as a devoted and loving husband to his wife of 54 years Kristine , a loving father to his 4 children: Kerry Wood (John), Amy Lambert-Schroedl (Pat), Katy Jarchow (Mike), and Jonathan Lambert (Gennie) , grandfather, great-grandfather and a steady, kind presence to all who knew him. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished so deeply and the many lives he touched along the way.
