Neil Mortensen Obituary
He is remembered as a loving husband, a cherished father, and a loyal friend. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sheridan (Sam) Mortensen, his daughter Jacqui Mortensen Pomerantz, his son Rick Mortensen (Tammy), granddaughter Danielle Pomerantz-Hoff (Michael), grandson Jake Pomerantz (Ashley), granddaughter Brooke Mortensen, and six great grandchildren.
His jokes and funny stories were the highlight of many gatherings. Neil's presence was a source of comfort and happiness for those around him, and he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Neil's memorial is scheduled for 10:30 Saturday, December 13th, at Yates Funeral Home, 7951 South US Highway 1, Port St. Lucie, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to Dogs and Cats Forever in Neil's name.
