Nell Marie Griffeth

Nell Marie Griffeth, 91 of St. Robert, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in the Phelps Health Hospital of Rolla, Missouri.

Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville / St. Robert. There are no services planned at this time.

Nell, daughter of the late Lola Murray, was born on March 25, 1934, in Jefferson, Georgia where she grew up and attended school. She was united in marriage to John Griffeth, a United States Army veteran and they began their military life together, moving to different duty stations and eventually moving to the Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri area. They decided to remain in the area after he was honorably discharged.

Nell was a hardworking woman and worked at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital in housekeeping for many years and later she worked as a cook at the Waynesville/St. Robert Senior Citizens' Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and sewing. Her main priority was her family, and she took great pride in providing and caring for them.

Nell leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters: Glendoria Morrison of Jefferson City, MO and Joann Morrison of the State of Texas; four grandchildren: Andrea Jacobs, Tara Jacobs, Sayderika Morrison and Paris Morrison; six great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Even though she is gone from our sight, Nell's memory will live on in our hearts forever.
