Nell T. (Thomas) Terney, 95, of Lexington, SC (formerly of Latrobe) passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025, at home surrounded by family members. She was born July 9, 1929, in Latrobe, to the late John H. and Hazel M. (Kiser) Thomas. She was a retired secretary for Derry Area School District, Greenhouse and Agriculture Department. Nell was a former member of the Latrobe Presbyterian Church and a Penn State Master Gardener. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. "Bob" Terney in 2007; and her daughter, Cherie D. Terney. She is survived by a son, Richard L. “Rick” Terney and his wife Michele, of Bellingham, WA; and a daughter, Pamela J. French and her husband, Sutton, of Lexington, S.C.; a granddaughter, Candace Arnold and her husband Ryan; and three great grandchildren. As per her wishes private burial, beside her husband, will be in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township, PA. Arrangements are entrusted to FREDERICK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe, PA 15650.
