Nellie "Kay" Kerschner, 88 of Centerburg, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025. She was born on March 13,1937, to the late Joe & Harriett Mossman, who instilled in her the values of love, kindness, and family that she carried throughout her life.

On December 23, 1957, Kay married the love of her life, Charles "Chuck" Kerschner. Together, they embarked on a beautiful journey that spanned 65 years, filled with laughter, love, and unwavering support for one another. Their bond was a testament to the power of love and partnership, and Kay's heart will forever hold the cherished memories of their life together, especially following Chuck's passing on December 22, 2022.

Kay dedicated her life to her family, pouring her heart into raising her children and creating a nurturing home. She had an extraordinary gift for bringing people together, often gathering her loved ones around the table to share meals, stories, and laughter. The joy of simply being together was what she cherished most, and her home was always a sanctuary of love and warmth.

She is survived by her sons Charles Jr. (Martha), Dean (Cheryl), John (Michele); daughter Sherry (Randall) Dennison; her beloved grandchildren Christopher, Shaun, Sophie, Calib and Braydn. Kay also leaves behind her great-granddaughter Allison, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Kay's legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. In honor of her memory the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Centerburg Senior Center, 182 West Houck Road, Centerburg, Ohio 43011.
