Nellie Mae Lampley

Nellie Mae Lampley of Trenton, New Jersey, departed this life on January 16, 2026. Affectionately known as "Nell," she was born on December 8, 1963, in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Nellie was a loving and caring person whose warmth touched everyone she encountered. Before her peaceful acceptance into Heaven, she received her early education in the St. Petersburg public school system, then relocated to Trenton, New Jersey, where she continued her education in the Trenton public schools.

Nellie was employed as the head cook at Pitt's Place in Trenton, New Jersey, and also worked as a compassionate care attendant for the elderly. She found great joy in cooking, spending time with her family, and creating lasting memories with her children and grandchildren. High-spirited and full of life. Nellie loved to laugh, dance, tell jokes, and share her warm, embracing spirit with all who knew her.

Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Lean Lampley; her sisters, Annie Jean Farmer and Cynthia Ann Lampley; and her brother, Amos James Lampley.

She leaves to cherish her memory her lifelong partner, Irvin Turner; her daughter, Ashley Scott (Kevin); her son, Johnathan Lampley (Aliceson); her sisters, Margaret Lampley (Gary) and Alfrida Rose Adams (Osceola); her brothers, Sherman Lampley (Laquecia) and Joseph Lampley Jr.; her beloved grandchildren,

Jamiere Moore, Zyaira Marshall, Anja Lampley, Diamond Lampley, Cahli Brown, Jayon Lampley, Johnathen Lampley Jr., and Jaiya Lampley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
