Worcester-Nelson G. Saydee, 37, passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2022 at Marlborough Hospital.
Nelson was born December 15th, 1985 son to Betty and Harrison Saydee, Sr. in Monrovia, Liberia. His true passion in life was playing basketball and spending time with his family and friends.
He leaves many behind that will miss him dearly including his parents, Betty and Harrison Saydee, Sr. of Worcester; his sons, Maximus Saydee, Kingsley Saydee and Jallah Saydee; his daughter Milan Virginia Saydee all of Worcester; his brothers, Harrison Saydee, Jr., Lawrence Saydee, Bobby Saydee, Charles Saydee and Benjamin Saydee; his sisters Lydia Saydee, Ruth Saydee, Louis Saydee, Cynthia Saydee and Harriet Saydee. He was predeceased by his brother, George, in 2014.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Nelson’s life with visiting hours on Friday, January 6th from 4:00 until 6:00pm at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 7th at 8:00am at Wesley United Methodist Church, 114 Main Street, Worcester with burial immediately following in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street.
