Neriah H. Crawford

A Celebration of Life Service for Neriah H. Crawford, age 9, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel.  Brother Scott Murphy will officiate.  Riah, as she was affectionately called, was the precious angel of Ariel and John Crawford. She was called away to live in heaven Wednesday evening, November 8, 2023.

Born on December 17, 2013, in Salt Lake City, Utah, Riah brought joy and happiness into the lives of those around her.

Little Riah is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Cathy Golightly and her paternal grandfather, Mike Crawford.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her parents, John and Ariel Crawford of Prentiss; her brother, John Crawford and sisters, Evelynn and Alexis Crawford, all of the home.  She also leaves behind her maternal grandparents, Georgianna and Nick Moore of Brooklyn; her maternal grandfather, Patric Smaltz of Abilene, KS; her paternal grandmother, Penny Taylor of Inez KY and her paternal grandfather, Robert Goodrick of Mountain View, KY.  She also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
 

Riah's passing leaves behind a void that cannot be filled. Her absence will be deeply felt by her family, but she will forever be remembered as a beacon of light, a source of inspiration, and a testament to the power of love and determination.
