Nettie Mae Hughes Arledge A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, she died on Monday, May 28, 2012 at Flannery Oaks Guest House in Baton Rouge. She was 84 and a lifelong resident of Livingston. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Seale Funeral Home, Livingston from 5pm until 9pm. Visitation will resume on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 9am. Dr. Tim Norris, pastor of First Baptist Church of Livingston, will conduct religious services in the funeral home chapel at 11am. Burial will follow in Hiriam Stafford Cemetery. She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law; Charlie Joe and Margaret Arledge, Harry Arledge and Kathy Chauvin and Tommy and Pat Arledge, grandchildren; Barry and Lisa Arledge, Chad and Amy Arledge, Brandy Arledge, Michelle and Kris Benesta, Heather and Charles Cambre and Hannah and Bronson Hart, great-grandchildren; Morgan, Adryanna, Kenley and Cort Arledge, Easton and Landry Benesta and Malia Cambre and sisters, Maydee Rushing, Josie Wascom and Patsy Ballard. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.J. Arledge, parents, Joseph Charles Hughes and Sarah Charlotte Mack Hughes, sisters, Inez Morgan, Alma Seefield and Mavis Murray and her brother, T.J. Hughes. Pallbearers will be, Kris Benesta, Charles Cambre, Bronson Hart, Bobby Hughes, Jacob Arledge and Shane Collins. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Livingston, Lady Bugs Homemakers Club, served numerous years as Commissioner of Elections and was involved in many community activities. She loved serving others in her church and community. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Clarity Hospice and Flannery Oaks Guest House.
