Nettie Rozettia Conner, 88, of Broseley, MO went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Nettie was born on January 24, 1937, to Clyde and Cynthia (Marlette) Moore in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She married Pearley "Junior" Conner on October 18, 1958, also in Poplar Bluff.
Nettie loved her husband and son with all her heart. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend. She was a strong believer of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, becoming a founding member of Cornerstone Tabernacle and serving in many capacities over her lifetime. In her younger years she liked to fish and spend time outdoors. She enjoyed going to yard sales, watching Wheel of Fortune, and completing cross word puzzles as she got older. Nettie was a hard worker and talented cabinet maker. She enjoyed working alongside her son while making cabinets, bookkeeping and whatever else needed done around the shop. Nettie loved babies and small children. She always had a nurturing and kind demeanor about her. Nettie was a hard worker all her life, even picking cotton as a young girl. She loved her family fiercely and will forever be in their hearts.
Nettie is survived by her son, Rick Conner; sister, Lillie Campbell; brother, Bob Moore; brother-in-law, Martin Conner; special great niece and "Little Sierria" who she babysat until school age.
Nettie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Pearley "Junior" Conner; sister, Velma Conner; two brothers, Clyde Moore and Earl Moore.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 04, 2025, from 10:00-11:00am at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services. Funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00am with Reverend Bobby Moore officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Woodlawn Cemetery.
