In Loving Memory of Mr. Duong Phu c Ngân
September 21, 1944 – June 29, 2025
With deep sorrow, our family announces the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Mr. Duong Phu c Ngân, who passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, at the age of 80, surrounded by his immediate family.
Born on September 21, 1944 in Hu Vietnam, Mr. Duong served with honor and courage as a Telecommunication Lieutenant in the South Vietnamese Army. His courage was further demonstrated during his seven years as a prisoner of war, a testament to his extraordinary resilience and spirit.
After immigrating to the United States, he built a new life marked by determination. He worked as an Electronic Technician in Telford, Pennsylvania, where he became known for his work ethic and uncanny ability to fix anything that was broken.
Mr. Duong was not only resourceful with his hands but also book smart and was a disciplined student. He helped his children with their schoolwork after moving to the U.S., often guiding them through math and science with ease.
In his free time, he was always active, constantly fixing up the house, gardening, or learning something new. He took great pride in cultivating tropical plants and fruit trees, always experimenting and learning. During the COVID pandemic, he even taught himself to play the guitar by watching online tutorials.
Mr. Duong will be remembered as a loving husband, an involved father, and a devoted grandfather. He was the heart of our family, unconditional with love and present at every important milestone. He lived with integrity and honesty, and led by example, passing on values that will continue to shape the generations after him.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Duy.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nguy n Th ông H i; his daughters Nh t Hà (Phuc), Nh t H ng (Robert), Nh t Quynh (Nathan) and his cherished grandsons Quan, Nam, Dan, Alex, and Thorley. He is also survived by his siblings, Trân, Gái (Duy), Thu, D u (Lê), H i (Ngân), and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Duong is lovingly remembered by many extended family members and friends across the globe.
A funeral service to honor his life will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Memorial Park Funeral Home in St. Petersburg, Florida.
