It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ngon Wah Lee on August 13, 2025. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father and friend who touched the lives of all who knew him. Ngon Wah was born on August 23, 1946, in Taishan, China and spent his life in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Ngon Wah was a man of many talents and passions. He was a Vietnam Vet who served his country with honor and bravery. After returning from his service, he worked at the US Post Office, where he dedicated himself to his work and served his community with pride.
Ngon Wah was known for his curious and adventurous spirit. He was always eager to explore new places and try new things. His creative and curious mind was always at work, coming up with new ideas and projects to keep himself busy.
But above all, Ngon Wah will be remembered for his love of traveling and cruising. He was always ready for the next adventure to meet new people and learn about their cultures. He had a way of finding the interesting places that he and his wife visited.
In his passing, Ngon Wah leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire those who knew him. He touched the lives of so many, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A ceremony to celebrate Ngon Wah's life will be held at Cypress Lawn Funeral Home, where friends and family will come together to honor his memory. Following the ceremony, a reception will be held at Dim Sum King on Sunday, August 31 at 3:30pm.
