Obituary of Nhung Van Nguyen

Nhung Van Nguyen, age 80, of Norristown, PA passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

He was born in Bing Duong, Vietnam on July 4, 1945, the son of the late Bach Van Nguyen and the late Tran Thi Be.

Nhung lived in Saigon, Vietnam before immigrating to Norristown, PA, where he has lived for 36 years. He spent his career in Military Security for the Army of the Republic of Vietnam. He enjoyed motorcycles, muscle cars, and travel, especially cruises. He enjoyed swimming, was a watch enthusiast, and liked watching YouTube.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Mai Thi Le of Norristown; three sons, Dennis Nguyen (Michael Marcolongo), James Nguyen (Thi Pham), and Thomas Nguyen (Sophia Fonteneau); as well as two siblings, Tung Dao and Nga Nguyen.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Son Nguyen.

A Prayer Service will be held Thursday, August 21, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401. A Viewing for family and friends will follow on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Funeral Home.

Cremation will follow at the on-site crematory.
