Nicholas (Nick) Wayne Cooper of Leesburg, Virginia passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at his home in Lucketts, Virginia. He was 53.
Nick was born on September 18,1972, in Norfolk, Virginia. He was the son of Doris Carroll and the late Anthony Cooper. He grew up in Charles Town, West Virginia and was a 1990 graduate of Jefferson High School and a 1995 graduate of West Virginia University. He was most recently employed as the Branch Manager of Presidential Bank in Leesburg, Virginia where he worked for 18 years.
Nick was always up for an adventure, a concert, or a good meal. He enjoyed traveling and anything athletic, whether that was working out at the gym, running, skiing, whitewater rafting, swimming, biking or playing soccer. He found peace in exploring nature and enjoyed hiking. He loved the ocean, and the beach was one of his favorite places to be. Nick worked hard and took great pride in his work. He had a unique and unparalleled sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with family and good friends. He will be deeply missed.
Nick leaves his family to cherish his memory including his beloved wife, Stacy DeVendra Cooper, his daughter, Sophia, his son, Tristan, his mother, Doris Carroll, his brother, Robert McDaniel, Jr. (Karen), his sister Carol Costanza (Mike), his niece, Isabella and nephew, Zach, his mother-in-law, June DeVendra, his father-in-law, Philip DeVendra, and many more family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 20, 2025, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church located at 101 Oakcrest Manor Dr. NE, Leesburg, Virginia, 20176 with a reception following at Hope Flower Farm & Winery in Waterford.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ALS Association or Team Gleason.
