Nicholas Cusato Obituary

Nick attended St. Francis Xavier Grade School and Potomac High School. He left High School to enlist in the US Army and after his service worked for the Washington Post. Nick was passionate about the building trades and left the Post to start his own home improvement business. He loved working with his hands, family, music, friends and food.
Nicholas is survived by his son, Nicholas (Talin), his daughter Angela Cusato, brothers, Michael, John, Jerry and his Uncle John Cusato. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter Nina Hodges and, brother, Anthony.
Celebration of Life to be announced and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans fund.
Cremation followed his passing. Arrangements are in the care of The Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin, Maryland. Condolences may be shared with the family via www.burbagefuneralhome.com.
A celebration of life to held at the Atlantic Hotel Ballroom on Saturday October 5, 2024 from 1:00-4:00pm, 2 North Main Street Berlin, MD 21811. Dress is business casual.

I knew of the Cusato boys because my mom and his mom Mary went to high school together and remained friends. Then I got to know him better as teenagers. He was the best friend you could ever ask for always there when you needed him. Mostly the thing I loved about him was his kind heart. He was always helping the little guy or anyone that needed help. He was the kindest person I ever known! RIP Nicky! I think of you everyday
