Nicholas "Nick" M. DelPinto, age 70, of New Castle, passed away May 24, 2025, in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman, Ohio.
Born February 1, 1955, in Youngstown, Ohio, he was the son of Tonino and Domenica (Frederalli) DelPinto.
In addition to his wife of 43 years, Patricia (Blake) DelPinto, whom he married February 27, 1982, he is survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard and Paula Blake; a niece, Amanda (Steve) Poulton; a nephew, Matthew Blake; two great nieces and one great nephew.
Nicholas received his bachelor's and master's degree in music from Youngstown State University, Dana School of Music. He taught both chorale and string orchestra with the Youngstown City Schools where he was a music specialist. After his retirement, he continued to teach private lessons with Music and Art in Canfield. To Nicholas, music was his passion. He enjoyed the many years of teaching others and sharing his love of music.
Prior to attending Cornerstone Assembly of God in North Lima, Ohio, he attended First Assembly of God in New Castle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
A funeral service will take place immediately following the visitation Thursday at 6:00 with Pastor Kerry Dean of Cornerstone Assembly of God officiating.
