Nicholas Endres Obituary

Nicholas Endres
02/24/1952 - 05/09/2025
Nick passed away May 9, 2025, in Buda, Texas. He was born in Huron, South Dakota, to Leonard and Mathilda (Brockman) Endres.
He met and married his wife of 47 years, Linda (Salcher) Endres, in Houston, Texas.
He received his bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma, and his master's degree in Accounting from the University of Houston. He was a loyal Oklahoma University supporter and loved his Sooners.
In 1987, Nick co-founded the Public Accounting firm Easley, Endres, Parkhill and Brackendorff, P.C. (EEPB). EEPB has steadily grown over the years to become one of the largest local CPA firms in Houston.
Nick was an outstanding CPA, specializing in tax. He had a brilliant and creative mind, and was especially adept at tax planning. His clients greatly appreciated his many years of service and professional counsel, and most called him a friend.
In 2019, Nick and Linda moved to Galveston, where Nick enjoyed one of his greatest passions, fishing. He and his friends made several trips to Belize to enjoy the fishing. He also enjoyed his annual quail hunting trips with friends.
Nick and Linda enjoyed hosting family and friends at their Galveston Bay home. Nick was 1 of 11 children and had a great appreciation for family. He was a devoted husband, brother, uncle and friend.
Nick was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Thomas and Kenneth Endres; sisters, Mary Endres Hertach, Donna, Sharon, Kay and Judith Endres; and brothers-in-law, Gerald Hertach, Dale Henning and James Radney.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; brother, Richard (Rosemary) Endres; sisters, Sue Henning and Jeanne (Jim) DeLano. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Mary Endres and Cindy (Kenneth) Ture; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 3 to 5 pm, at the Briar Club (2603 Timmons Lane, Houston, Texas 77027). Clients, colleagues, friends, and family are welcome.
