FORBES, Nicholas R. Of Jamaica Plain, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on February 23, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (Flanagan) Forbes; and loving father to their son, Ross of Jamaica Plain. Dear brother of Margaret Teed of VA, John Forbes of Beverly, David Forbes of Woburn and the late Christopher Forbes. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY, on Thursday, March 5, at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting Hours on Wednesday, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Interment is private.
