NICHOLAS MATTHEW FRONTZ
Nicholas M. Frontz, 23, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on April 6, 2025. A lifelong resident of Gulfport, Nick touched countless lives with his generous spirit, quick wit, and infectious joy.
Nick graduated from Gulfport High School in 2019, where he was an accomplished saxophone player in the school band and served as treasurer of DECA. Nick achieved the highest rank of Eagle Scout in 2019. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance, summa cum laude, from Southern New Hampshire University in 2023. At the time of his passing, he was working as a Financial Analyst with the Naval Information Forces.
A devoted Catholic, Nick's life was marked by faith and serving, he was a longtime member of Saint James Catholic Church and was an altar server at St. John the Evangelist. He was a beloved volunteer at the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society at the Seabee base, serving as an apprentice case worker helping military families. His faith was also evident through his service at events like Feasting with Father at Most Holy Trinity Church. Even in death, Nick’s generous spirit lives on through his gift of organ and tissue donation.
Twelve years ago, following the unexpected passing of his father, Nick stepped into the role of man of the house with remarkable strength and grace. He loved golf, going to the shooting range, grilling, reading, enjoying good food, and spending time with family and friends. Those who knew him will forever remember his heart of gold, his joy-filled presence, and his signature bear hugs that made everyone feel safe and loved.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Frontz, and his paternal grandparents, Ira and Mary Jane Frontz.
Nick is survived by his loving mother, Theresa Frontz; siblings Mary Frontz and Michael Frontz (Nikki); and Amanda Guenzel (Brennan) and their children, Isabel and Sophia. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, George and Hazel Dickey; beloved family members Julie and Don Ross, Maxim Ross, and Andy Ross; and his devoted girlfriend, Sydnie Lacoste-Allen.
Nick loved Jesus, his family, his girlfriend Sydnie, and his many close friends with unwavering devotion. He poured his heart into every relationship, and those closest to him knew they could always count on his loyalty, his contagious laughter, and his steady presence. His ability to love deeply and bring joy and laughter to everyone he met will remain his enduring legacy.
