Nicholas Kampf Obituary

Nicholas was born on May 17, 1959, in Oneida the son of Nicholas R. and Barbara J. West Kampf. A lifelong resident of the area, he graduated from the Oneida School System. Following school, he enlisted with the US Army. He was Honorably Discharged in 1980.
Nicholas was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his children. He was handyman that could do carpentry, plumbing and set tile along with many other skills. When the job was complete, he was known to enjoy a beer.
Surviving is his mother Barbara J. Kampf of Oneida, 5 children: Nicholas Kampf Jr. of Deansboro, Raymond Kampf of Camillus, Gerald Kampf of Liverpool, Patrick Kampf of Camillus and Hilaina Kampf of Oneida, his siblings Andrew (Melissa) Kampf of Munnsville, Brenda (Mark) Treavers of Haymarket, VA and Robin Kampf of Oneida, one grandson Chancey Kampf and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his father and brother Faron Kampf.
Graveside services will be held in the spring in Stockbridge Cemetery, Friends are invited and may call from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Friday January 10, 2024, at the Ironside Funeral Home, Inc. 342 Main Street Oneida.
