Shortsville – Darlene A. Kampf, age 72, left this world peacefully, on May 1, 2025, while surrounded by her loved ones. Darlene was a beloved aunt, sister, and friend whose warmth, strength, and kindness touched the lives of everyone she met. She is survived by her sister, Donna Burgess; niece, Eileen (Angelis) Liatsos; nephews, Jeffrey and Jamie Coon; great-niece, Angela Liatsos; great-nephew, Christos Liatsos. Darlene has rejoiced with her predeceased siblings, Patricia, Raymond and Richard Pulver; and mother, Arlene (Chalker) Pulver, all of whom she loved deeply.
Born in Newark, NY, Darlene was always devoted to helping others. She had a gentle soul, an embracing presence, and a heart that always made room for those in need. Whether through her work, her volunteer efforts, or simply her everyday interactions, Darlene's compassion and grace were constant. She found joy in life's simple moments; she loved all animals, sharing stories over coffee, and embracing those she loved with open arms. Though our hearts are broken and heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing Darlene's light lives on in the memories that we cherish and the love she gave so freely. Rest in peace Darlene, you will be missed beyond words.
Friends may call Saturday, May 31, from 3-5pm, at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua, where family and friends are invited to celebrate her life and legacy. In lieu of flowers and in honor of Darlene's giving spirit, memorial contributions may be made to Ontario County Humane Society, 2976 Co. Rd. 48, Canandaigua, NY 14424. Condolences may be offered at www.johnsonkennedy.com.
