Nicholas A. "Nick" Kingsborough, 58 of Ridley Park and a lifelong resident of Delaware County died on March 14, 2025 at his home. Born in Upper Darby, he was the son of the late Robert Ray and Betty Lou Rodearmel Kingsborough.
Nick was a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1984 where he was on the football team. He was also a body builder who won many awards and certificates while competing and was also recognized as "Mr. Philadelphia" three years in a row. Nick worked for many years as The Carpet Man and more recently was employed as the cook and chef at Dolan's Bar in Ridley Park. Over the years, he coached football at the Williamson Trade School and for the Prospect Park Termites and Folsom Falcons. Nick was a selfless person who always thought of others before himself. More than anything, he enjoyed time with his family, especially his cherished grandsons.
He was the loving husband of 38 years to Mary Elizabeth Bockius Kingsborough, father of Nicholas W. Kingsborough, David A. Kingsborough (favorite daughter-in-law Kelsey) and Elizabeth A. Kingsborough, grandfather of Nicholas and Nathanial Kingsborough, brother of Lisa Little (Rich), Richard Kingsborough (Bernadette), Joseph Kingsborough (Denise) and Brian Kingsborough (Kelly), he is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 7 PM on Friday, March 21, 2025 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park where relatives and friends may call after 6 PM.
Memorial gifts to help offset funeral expenses may be sent to the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078 would be greatly appreciated.
