David Leroy Kingsborough, 74, of Duncannon, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at home.
Born on October 1, 1948 in Mechanicsburg to the late Rev. Raymond M. and Pearl I. (Wilhelm) Kingsborough.
David retired from the United States Army Reserves as a Sergeant First Class with over 20 years of service.
He was the parts supervisor for Smith's Farm Equipment in Newport, retiring in 2021.
David was an active member of Watts Township Wesleyan Church, where he served on the board. He enjoyed working outside and driving his tractor.
Surviving is his wife, Betty L. (Potteiger) Kingsborough, a daughter, Yolanda R. Garlinger and her husband, Ron of Wormleysburg, a son, David R. Kingsborough of Duncannon, a foster sister, L. Fay Shreve and her husband, George of Carlisle, a granddaughter, Ericka Garlinger and a stepgrandson, R.T. Garlinger, III. He was preceded in death by a brother, Stanford Kingsborough.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Watts Township Wesleyan Church, 55 Circle Drive, Duncannon, PA 17020, with Rev. Dee Lower officiating. Burial will be in Bloomfield Cemetery, New Bloomfield.
Viewing will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Saturday in the church.
Memorial contributions in David's honor may be made to Watts Township Wesleyan Church, 55 Circle Drive, Duncannon, PA 17020.
