Nicholas Allen Lufkins Sr., age 53 of Robbinsdale, Minnesota Journeyed to the Spirit World on January 19, 2024 at his residence. He was born on February 12, 1970 in Minneapolis, Minnesota the son of Allen Lufkins Sr., and Lorraine Boswell. Nicholas was named after his uncle: Nick Boswell.
Nicholas had two brothers and three sisters He was a union leader at the VA Medical Center, where people would to home when problems occured. He was an enrolled member of the White Earth Tribe He had a very goofy, unique sense of humor that everyone could relate to.
He always loved country music, more specifically, he loved Dwight Yoakam. He enjoyed football, basketball, baseball, boxing and especially playing lots of pool with his son: Nick Jr. His close family and friends, also knew him as Huey and Nalty.
Nicholas always mentioned how his kids meant the world to him.
Nicholas is survived by his daughters: Sara Lufkins; Tania Gamboa (In-Law); son: Nick Lufkins Jr; sisters: Katie Mitchell, Carrie Farley and Elizabeth Freebird; nieces: Lorraine Lufkins, Raven Freebird and River Freebird; nephews: Larry Mitchell and Joseph Mitchell; grandchildren: Braylen Lufkins, Reese Lufkins and Evaliah Jackson.
Preceded in death by his parents: Allen Lufkins and Lorraine Lufkins; a brother: AJ Lufkins and the mother of his children: Brenda Schaaf
An all-night visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 with the first viewing beginning at 5:00 P.M. at the Church of Gichitwaa Kateri in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
A funeral service for Nicholas Lufkins Sr., will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 with the final viewing beginning at 1:00 P.M. at the Church of Gichitwaa Kateri in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Honorary Casket Bearers will be Julie Lufkins, Lorraine Lufkins, Tania Gamboa, Eveliah Gamboa
Casket Bearers will be Corey Jackson Sr., Corey Jackson Jr., Marcel Jackson, Aaron Jackson, Dylan Archambault, Darrin Kegg
