Nicholas Paul "Nicky" Matarazzo

Nicholas "Nicky" Matarazzo, of East Boston, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 26 years of age.
Born in Boston, MA, on June 16, 1998, to proud parents Robert and Lisa Matarazzo, Nicky was a cherished brother to Christopher, Elena, and Emily, and a beloved grandson to Rita Lotti, and the late Americo Lotti, Ann Matarazzo, and Edward Matarazzo.
Nicky's life was one marked by an infectious humor, a keen intellect, and a profound kindness that touched the lives of all who knew him. His ability to light up a room with his wit and charm was unmatched, and his propensity for helping others was evident in every aspect of his life. Nicky's family and friends will forever remember his laughter and the warmth he brought to their lives. Each family member reflects a facet of Nicky's spirit, and they will carry forward his legacy of love and wisdom.
Nicky's passing in the city where he was born, and which he adored, marks a poignant full circle in his life's journey. Nicky was a shining example of dedication and hard work. He excelled in his studies and used his intelligence to not only better himself but those around him. Family and friends will honor Nicky's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, East Boston, for a memorial visitation on Saturday, January 25th from 8:30 to 11:00 A.M. before leaving in procession to St. Joseph ~ St. Lazarus Church, East Boston, for a funeral Mass celebrating his life at 11:30 A.M.
