Nicholas Paul Mazzarella

Nicholas Paul Mazzarella, 45, passed away on March 1, 2026. Nicholas lived life with passion, humor, and a spirit that reflected his personal motto: "Go big or go home."

Nick was a dedicated teacher at Immokalee High School, where he made a lasting impact on countless students. He served as the school's DECA sponsor and coached the girls' lacrosse team, roles through which he mentored and inspired young people both in the classroom and beyond. His enthusiasm, encouragement, and belief in his students helped many find confidence and direction.

Above all else, Nick loved being a father. He treasured every moment spent with his daughter, Lia, who was the center of his world. Whether it was sharing laughs, spending time together, or simply being present, those moments meant everything to him.

Nick also had a love for trucks and the simple joy of being with the people he cared about. His loyalty to his friends and the memories he created with them will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paulo Mazzarella and Donatella Valbonesi Mazzarella.

Nicholas is survived by his beloved daughter, Lia, and many friends whose lives were touched by his kindness, humor, and generous spirit.

He will be remembered for his big heart, his dedication to his students, and the love he had for his daughter. His legacy lives on in the many lives he influenced and the memories he leaves behind.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 28th from 2:30-4:00pm at Big Corkscrew Island Regional Park Community Center located at 839 39th Ave NE, Naples.
