Nicholas C. Missler, 46, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 29, 1978, in Norwalk, to Tamara Deer and Craig Missler. He graduated from Norwalk/EHOVE in 1997.

Nick battled brain cancer for several years and he fought hard. He was the strongest man we know. Nick accepted Jesus, and God has now recruited a real warrior, helping to guide his loved ones on the side of the Lord.

Nick was a caring, hardworking man who loved spending time with his kids and family. He was an electrician by trade and an extremely handy problem solver. Nick enjoyed working on cars, welding, woodworking, and fixing whatever needed repaired. He also enjoyed fishing, art, wood burning, night walks, Halloween, and Tae Kwon Do.

Survivors include his life-long friend, Miranda Souslin; their children, Jagar and Kaeleigh Missler; his father, Craig Missler; mother, Tamara Deer; sisters, Kelley Missler, and Emily Ringer; brother, Andrew (Megan) Missler; nieces and nephews, Sadie, Ricky, Heath, Dylan, Reid, Maura, Andy and Riker; as well as many aunts, uncles, and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Albert and Catherine Deer; paternal grandparents, Wilbur "Bill" and Virginia "Ginny" Missler; and aunts, Wanda Finch and Ann Johnston.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, Ohio, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 21849 Lorain Rd, Fairview Park, OH 44126.
