NICHOLAS “NICK” MUELLER, 23 years old, of Jefferson City, TN passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at home surrounded by all of his loved ones after a three year long battle with melanoma. Nick was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved fiercely and without reservation. He was a 2019 graduate from Knoxville Catholic High School, and member of First Lutheran Church of Knoxville. He was an employee of Star Construction where he spent five of his best years. The pride he had in being a member of the Star team was tremendous. When he was not at work or with family, you could normally find him behind the wheel of his vehicle. Driving was his happy place. His love for cars brought many people into his life, along with his passion for online video games. His goofy, loving, and crazy personality will be missed. Nick is preceded in death by his father, Scott Mueller; grandmother, Carol Mueller; grandfather, Charles K. Pratt, Sr., and uncle, Charles K. Pratt, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Angel Mueller; brother and sister-in-law, Zack and McKenzie Mueller; nephews, Hudson and Lincoln; grandmother, Betty Pratt; grandfather, John Mueller; and special family, Fred and Pam Shults, Lydia Correll, and all of Star Construction. The family wishes to thank Amedisys Home Health nurses, Rachel, Leslie, Emma, Ashley and Shaunda; along with all of their amazing staff for the wonderful care they showed Nick in his final days. They would also like to thank Dr. Neil Faulkner and staff at University Cancer Specialists for fighting hard for three years to battle this disease. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home in Jefferson City, with Rev. Darrell Chambers and Rev. Ronnie Trent officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Friends may gather at 10:45 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2024 at Eastview Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service with Rev. Darrell Chambers officiating.
