Nicholas J. Naclerio

Nicholas "Nicky" Naclerio, a beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025, at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, New York with his sister by his side. He was born on January 31, 1977, in Mount Kisco, NY to his loving parents, Regina and Louis Naclerio. Nicky was 48 years young at the time of his passing. He captivated anyone he met with his bright blue eyes, giant warm hugs, and welcoming nature. You could not help but smile and laugh when in his presence. To know him was to love him.

Nicky was a devoted employee with a strong work ethic and spent over 20 years employed at Rockwell Awnings. He had an ability to put his customers at ease, which was a testament to his character. He engaged others with kindness and light, and left a lasting impression on anyone who graced his presence.

Nicky found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He sought solace on a fishing boat in early mornings and loved to go crabbing on the sandy shores of Long Beach Island, where he made countless cherished memories. The mountains also held a special place in his heart, and he even spent a brief time living in Telluride, Colorado. He was a graceful skier who enjoyed the peace of the slopes and mountain air. Nicky was a drummer growing up and found happiness in jamming out to live music at concerts and was known to belt out a tune or two!

Growing up in Mahopac, NY, Nicky built friendships that became like family—brothers who stood by him through every step of life. He was the heart of his family, the baby boy, and is survived by his parents, Regina and Louis Naclerio; his sister Lisa Naclerio; brother-in-law Randy Elber; nieces Gia and Mila Elber; his dog Buddy, and adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins. Guided by light and love, he was reunited with his beloved sister, Gina Naclerio, and his loving grandparents, finding peace among those who passed before him.

Nicky faced life's challenges with remarkable resilience. He never complained and approached each day with a relaxed, positive attitude. He exemplified kindness and bravery, leaving behind a legacy of joy and love that will resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Nicky taught us all to live life to the fullest, not sweat the small stuff, and learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. He will forever be our source of inspiration.
