Nicholas “Nick” W. Matovich, 68, of Ocala, FL, formally Lewistown, MD, was called home on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
He was born in McKees Rocks, PA on November 2, 1957, to Robert and Mary Lou Matovich. He married Annamarie Matovich in 1991. While a man of few words, he had the kindest of hearts, was always eager to help others, and loved his family dearly. His love was always present whether vacationing with his wife at the beach to being at every activity his grandchildren had. Aside from family, he loved football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, and enjoyed quiet time at home watching his favorite television shows. He will be greatly missed.
Nick is survived by his wife of 34 years, Annamarie and their son, Kevin (Amy) Matovich. He also leaves his beloved grandchildren Eliana and Samuel, brother Robert (Mary Flo) Matovich, sister Ruth Riley, sister Carol Matovich, brother John Matovich, and many nieces/nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Robert, mother Mary Lou, and brothers Paul and Edward Matovich.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
