Nicholas Oliverio Obituary

In loving memory of Nicholas Vincent Oliverio, March 18, 1994-Jan. 11, 2026

LONDON, UK - Nicholas Oliverio, 31, of Dulwich Village, London, passed away Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Nick was born in Olean, N.Y., and grew up in Ellicottville, N.Y.

He graduated from Ellicottville Central School and worked as a ski instructor at Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville. Nick earned a Bachelor's degree from SUNY Binghamton in New York and a master's degree from the University of Leeds in Leeds.

Nick worked as Head of Product Research for the Reuters UX Research team in London. He excelled in his work and took great pride in it, often encouraging his friends and family to follow Reuters News. Despite facing intense treatment for Glioblastoma, Nick continued to work and even earned a promotion.

Never wanting to be defined by a diagnosis, Nick lived life fully and with strong determination. He loved the life that he and Clementine built together and possessed a charismatic sense of adventure and enthusiasm. Always looking forward with his 'good vibes only' attitude, Nick will be forever loved and deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

Nick is survived by his wife, Clementine Pellegrin; his parents, Jean and Vincent Oliverio; his brother, Eric Oliverio; his grandmother, Angela Oliverio; his parents-in-law, Renee-Lise and Frederic Pellegrin; his brother-in-law, Elliott Pellegrin; many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends in the US and the UK; and his beloved dog, Bailey.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Marie and Stuart Martin; and his paternal grandfather, Vincent J. Oliverio.

Nick's family extends heartfelt appreciation to the staff at King's College Hospital in London for the compassionate care they provided during Nick's final two months.

Funeral arrangements were provided by W. Uden & Sons. A UK Celebration of Life was held Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026. A US Celebration of Life will be held in Ellicottville.

In honor of Nick's love of skiing, his hometown pride, and his unwavering spirit to persevere, his family suggests memorial donations be made to the Lounsbury Adaptive Ski Program at Holiday Valley Resort at https://lounsburyadaptive.org/donate/#donate.
