Nicholas R. Parlatti

Nicholas (Nicky) Parlatti - 67 years old passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Valley Hospital, Paramus, NJ surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ he is the son of the late Dominick and Margaret Parlatti. He is predeceased by his wife of 49 years Betty Ann (Melley) and his beloved son Nicholas. Devoted grandfather to Nicholas, Drew, Dominick, and Ava. Father-in-law to Lisa. Being one of eight children Nicky is survived by his siblings Gary (Barbara) Parlatti, Theresa Nesbihal, Diane Holland, John (Susan) Parlatti, Mark Parlatti, James Parlatti, and the late Margaret Serrano. Nicky is also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. He is a retired longshoreman member of ILA Local 1804-1 for 40 years, after all his hard work and dedication throughout the years he chose to enjoy his retirement at the Jersey Shore. The light of Nicky's life was his four grandchildren. Being Poppy was the biggest blessing he could have ever imagined. There is nothing in the world he wouldn't do for them. The void left in their hearts is an unfillable one. The world will be a lot dimmer without Poppy in it but the love and lessons he gave them will last forever!
